iReady Lessons
Supporting your child's math and reading with an iReady lesson once or twice a week (or on the weekend) is a valuable strategy to keep them on track with where they need to be for end of first grade....and to start second grade with a solid foundation. One lesson averages about 15-20 minutes, and it's a great way to sit down with them, talk through the lesson or have them explain their thinking to you!
Math: Unit 6
Literacy:
High Frequency Word SPELLING:
Our Sight Word focus is changing!! Now that most of our students have memorized the 1st grade sight words, we will turn our attention to spelling those words! A HUGE thank you goes out to Mrs. Helen Eckler. She has been a devoted volunteer in my classroom.
